The Intensive Course is the exclusive and fully supported choice. Participants will be quickly successful in their search for gold.
Course times:
We will start the Intensive course at 10.15am or 2pm or by prior arrangement.
Equipment:
The participants receive the big equipment and hip boots. Alternatively you can use your own equipment.
Instruction:
In this course we will explore exclusive spots which have been identified by me, using my knowledge and experience. Novices will be able to gain the most important basic skills and knowledge to seek gold and how to use the equipment effectively. For more advanced gold seekers I can be your personal source of knowledge and guidance. I will tailor the course to cater for the needs of participants to ensure each participant gains some new knowledge. Once we agreed on priorities, we collectively identify areas within the spot to search more intensively for gold. The first two hours of the course is supervised and guided by me personally sharing my knowledge and experiences. I will demonstrate how to use the gold sluice effectively. After the formal part of the course is completed, you will be able to use your knowledge and the equipment provided to continue your search to find more gold on the identified spot.
Prerequisite:
Please check the weather beforehand and wear suitable gear. You can go to the nearby restaurant for lunch, or you can take the food and drinks with you to the mining site.

Extensions:
If you like the search for gold, you may want to extend the search for gold.
Please contact me the night before or the day after between 9.30am and 10.15 am to hire any equipment for another day. Gold washing in the gullies of Disentis does not require a permit.
This flexible course is specifically suitable for experienced gold seekers wanting to draw on my extensive experience and knowledge to improve their chances to find gold. From my experience, this course together with some additional days often leads to success. How about a small nugget of your own, or even a larger self-found pendant on the neck? Naturally I can not guarantee your success as it will depend on your dedication and hard work but I can assure you will gain valuable knowledge which will enhance your odds.
